are making possible this year!

Equitable Resources & Student Assistance

  • Student Emergency Fund

  • Registration fee assistance and forgiveness

  • i-Kit Internship Program

  • Kit Care Wellness Packages

  • Music Scholarship Fund

  • The new ETHS Literacy Lab

The Literacy Lab offers the Evanston Township High School community a resource to promote literacy goals, enhance literacy-related skills and work toward closing the achievement gap in reading. Although the Literacy Lab is designed to offer support for students who range from slight to major literacy delays, support is also available for any student in the building who displays a need. Staff will ensure equal access to support for all ETHS students, regardless of their academic level, social class, ethnicity, background, or physical/emotional disabilities.

  • Closing the Digital Divide

The ETHS Foundation will continue to provide resources for students to utilize during this period of remote learning, including but not limited to wireless hot spots and Chromebooks.

New and Improved Facilities
  • Expanded Band Practice Field with new Conductor Tower

  • Lighting and sound updates to the ETHS Auditoriun

  • All-Gender Locker Room & Girls Locker Room Renovations

The girls' locker room at ETHS has not been updated in over 50 years; the boys' locker room renovation was completed in 2019. The ETHS Foundation is also supporting a new, permanent all-gender locker room option. The locker room renovations will allow for updated, safer, and more accessible facilities.

  • Senior Capstone STEAM Innovation & Design Course

  • Geometry in Construction

The GIC program has been in existence at ETHS since September 2013. Students learn geometry skills in a hands-on applicable way, building a fully functioning three-bedroom house that is sold with the assistance of the city’s affordable housing program.
